Infographics sponsors Excellence in Fire & Emergency Awards – now taking place in 2021
Infographics today confirmed its sponsorship of the ‘Team of the Year’ category at the prestigious Fire and Emergency Awards, now rescheduled to take place in March 2021.
Organised by FIRE magazine, the event brings together leading lights from fire & rescue and emergency services, suppliers and industry supporters, to celebrate outstanding achievements over the previous months.
Russell Wood, Infographics’ Commercial Manager, said: “We are delighted to continue to support this event and the achievements of the amazing people it celebrates. We wish everyone vying for ‘Team of the Year’ all the very best of luck, and look forward to what I am certain will be another fantastic day.”
The glittering awards ceremony will take place at One Great George Street, London, on March 19th 2021. The organisers and FIRE magazine publishers, Fire Knowledge, have moved the awards to ensure the event goes ahead in recognition of the significant contribution of fire and emergency workers during the global pandemic.
Commercial Manager Beverley Rees said: “Our sponsors and attendees often tell me that the awards is the highlight of their year and I am delighted that, in the circumstances, we will be able to showcase the blue ribbon event for the fire and emergency services again. It is more important than ever to recognise the contribution and dedication of our fire and emergency service workers and we look forward to welcoming awards finalists, guests and sponsors to the magnificent venue of One Great George Street.”
FIRE Editor and Publisher Andrew Lynch said: “I am pleased that the fire sector’s leading awards are going ahead in March as it is more important than ever to recognise the hard work and commitment of fire and emergency responders during this time. FIRE magazine has provided extensive coverage of the exceptional response of fire and rescue services in support of the NHS and emergency services colleagues and we look forward to celebrating the life-saving contribution personnel have made during Covid-19.
“It is also important to recognise the contribution of the fire industry in providing resources from high-quality PPE to systems software to enable outstanding response. This is the essence of our awards: recognising effective collaboration between industry and fire and emergency response in supporting our communities, saving lives and recognising and celebrating success.”
The awards entry deadline will be extended until December 31st, 2020. Last year’s worthy winners were Essex Fire & Rescue Service. We wish best of luck to all the entrants for 2021!
